Hi I’m back again and I found this article. It was about how Steven Spielberg abandoned his role as the host of the Chinese olympics. He said this is because China should be doing morre to end the suffering in Darfur rather than being worried about their olympics. Frederick Douglas was a truly insparational man who campaigned hard for the rights of minority’s and women. he was widely respected by many and proved an inspiration to later generations. Douglas served under presidents Hayes,Grant,Garfield,and B.Harrison, he did all this after originally being a slave and then running away. he also established multiple newspapers and a women’s rights group.

Dear Viewers(if there is any),

On March 6th Mr Mayo’s 8th grade class will try to get over a thousand comments at the site below. The issue that we are addressing is the genocide in Darfur. For those who don’t know a genocide is the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group. We are looking for well written comments about Darfur awareness and ideas for taking action about this issue. The conflict in Darfur which I talked about in my last post (which you people never read) has to do with the Janjaweed. But the point is that people are dieing and America isn’t acting. As you may know whats happening in Darfur, the crisis/genocide. How the janjaweed are killing everyone in sight at night. The Janjaweed are vicious killers that attack at night when everyone is sleeping. The word Janjaweed means “a man with a gun on a horse”.They are the reason that the genocide is happening. You don’t want to be in their possition it is horrible.
